Corica Pastries - 16 Jun 2007

Cuisine: Italian, patisserie
Location: Northbridge, short stroll from CAT stop

I have a more recent food review of Corica Pastries here.

I was watching Food Safari – Italy on SBS and had seen these wonderful looking pastries called canoli. The next question was where do I get these? I asked one of mates of Italian heritage who told me about Corica Pastries. I jumped on the CAT bus and took a trip into Northbridge and found the place only a stone throw’s away from the stop I got off at. There’s a wide selection of pastries at good value so I took a selection home and shared them with my parents. These are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend a trip here.

Verdict: Yum! What else can I say?
Price: Bargain
Taste: Delicious
Value: Excellent
Recommendation: Highly Recommend

Restaurant Rating System

It's subjective but I base my reviews on 4 key areas:

Price: Bargain > Reasonable > Moderately Expensive > Expensive
Taste: Poor > Average > Great > Delicious
Value: Poor > Good > Reasonable > Excellent
Recommendation: Eat At Home Instead > Try Once If You Want But Not Worth Visiting Again > Worth Visiting > Recommend > Highly Recommend

The final recommendation will consider the price, taste and value. Value will be based on price and other factors like service and serving size.
