Cuisine: Modern Australian
Location: Perth CBD
After starting my first permanent full time job in the city out of uni, I discovered that the corporate life meant the opportunity of eating out at the many eating establishments in Perth. The Melbourne was chosen as the venue for a leaving lunch. This place is also a bar but I’m not a drinker so you won’t get any comment from me on a fine drop of wine or selection of beers on offer. I’d ordered a very rich, cheesy spinach tortellini which went down very well. I’m a big fan of Italian so I enjoyed the meal very much. I thought given the richness, it could have been accompanied by a salad and some vegetables too, as not too long after the meal I was still feeling hungry. Given the richness of the meal, you can only eat so much so while a larger quantity would have been appreciated, it would be hard to finish.
Verdict: Excellent
Price: Moderately Expensive
Taste: Delicious
Value: A bit on the pricey side
Recommendation: Recommend
