Happy Meals Restaurant - 27 Jan 2008

Cuisine: Malaysian
Location: Victoria Park

I have a more recent food review of Happy Meals Restaurant.

In Victoria Park and East Victoria Park there are a string of eateries all ranging in cuisines and value. This place is opposite The Park Centre (shopping centre) and offers a decent setting. I’ve enjoyed their takeaway a number of times with my favourite being the duck with crispy noodles. This time around, we were enjoying lunch for my mum’s birthday. Given a group of people, this allowed us to order several dishes which we could share which gives variety. I really enjoyed the food here. The vinegar chicken and deep fried spare ribs are delicious. The place is busy and the staff are very friendly. I also had their red bean pancake with vanilla ice cream which topped the lunch off. I’ve gone back here a few times and the food is just as yum, all at a good price.

Verdict: Excellent, lots to choose from and takeaway available too
Price: Reasonable
Taste: Delicious
Value: Excellent
Recommendation: Highly Recommend

Restaurant Rating System

It's subjective but I base my reviews on 4 key areas:

Price: Bargain > Reasonable > Moderately Expensive > Expensive
Taste: Poor > Average > Great > Delicious
Value: Poor > Good > Reasonable > Excellent
Recommendation: Eat At Home Instead > Try Once If You Want But Not Worth Visiting Again > Worth Visiting > Recommend > Highly Recommend

The final recommendation will consider the price, taste and value. Value will be based on price and other factors like service and serving size.
