Holiday Part 7 – Melbourne - Laurent Boulangerie Patisserie

Cuisine: French, patisserie, Breakfast
Location: Melbourne CBD

Next morning it was off for breakfast again and this time it was off to a French patisserie. Located on yet another lane way, the front looks typically European. Inside on the ground floor is an array of cakes, croissants and any other thing that comes in pastry. Of course you can grab a coffee too. Upstairs, you can grab lunch. There is too much to choose from and indulge. Shame one doesn’t have an infinite appetite! I went for a plain croissant and a chocolate croissant (Pain au chocolate) which were kindly warmed up. One bite and you are hooked. Amazing!

Verdict: Amazing, you have to come here and try something, anything!
Price: Bargain
Taste: Delicious
Value: Excellent
Recommendation: Highly Recommend

Restaurant Rating System

It's subjective but I base my reviews on 4 key areas:

Price: Bargain > Reasonable > Moderately Expensive > Expensive
Taste: Poor > Average > Great > Delicious
Value: Poor > Good > Reasonable > Excellent
Recommendation: Eat At Home Instead > Try Once If You Want But Not Worth Visiting Again > Worth Visiting > Recommend > Highly Recommend

The final recommendation will consider the price, taste and value. Value will be based on price and other factors like service and serving size.
