Back in Perth, frozen pastizzi in tact…
My memory of what I ate is a bit hazy unfortunately. This place is supposed to be one of the top places to eat in Perth so I was fortunate to enjoy a team lunch here. Situated at the bottom of the QV1, the place has an interesting atmosphere and also doubles as a bar and serves tapas after 4pm. I can’t remember exactly what I had, possibly salmon served with a cauliflower puree which was light and fluffy and a garden salad which complemented the meal well. All members enjoyed their meals and this was one of the few places we also had some dessert. I ordered Italian donuts with a bitter chocolate sauce and white chocolate sauce. I was presented with a bowl full of smallish pebble like shapes which were soft and dipped in the delicious chocolate sauces. I really enjoyed this which obviously overshadowed my mains which is why I can’t remember it! My only complaint is it finished too quickly! I could have done with a second serve! Other team members looked on rather jealously. A tasty finish to a great meal.
Verdict: The dessert was delicious! Tasty meal but it didn’t wow me for the price. I expected more.
Price: Moderately Expensive
Taste: Delicious
Value: Reasonable, glad the company was paying and not me!
