Full Moon Thai

Cuisine: Thai
Location: Mt Lawley

While I was on holidays, I was keen to try a few Thai places. I found this one on the web and looks can be deceiving judging by the frontage but don’t be put off. This place is your typical suburban eat out where you can dine in but predominately most of the patrons chose take away. While we were there, there was a steady stream of people picking up their take away orders. The inside is pleasant and air-conditioned which is a good thing given it was quite a hot day, despite turning up for dinner. We started with some entrees of chicken skewers and money bags. I’ve never seen such a generous, overly-generous, amount of chicken! The chicken skewers had plenty of chicken and a delicious peanut sauce. I really enjoyed it but mum rightly pointed out that while it was tasty, it wasn’t grilled as you would expect of chicken skewers. The chicken seemed boiled and then put on skewers, but either way, I wasn’t too fussed. The money bags were very nice. Can’t remember what we ordered for mains but the overall experience was pleasant and I can see why this place is popular for takeaway.

Verdict: Very good Thai food and a great choice for takeaway. Really enjoyed their satay chicken skewers.
