Geláre is bringing vegan ice cream to Western Australia, giving vegans and those who are lactose intolerant the chance to enjoy the iconic ice cream brand. Geláre vegan ice cream is made with organic ingredients and contains no dairy, eggs or any other animal based products. It is made totally different to the normal ice cream, however still appears and tastes the same.

“We wanted to provide vegans and those who are lactose intolerant with a dessert choice that mimics ice cream with all its pleasures,” Geláre Founder and Director Farid Torabi said.

Geláre currently offers three vegan ice cream flavours – Naked Chocolate, Cappuccino and Dark Chocolate.

“Making Vegan ice cream flavours is not an easy task,” Farid explains.

“To make an ice cream with all none of the traditional ingredients, whilst creating the same texture and flavours, is a challenge in itself. We are currently working on new flavours and are looking forward to bringing further vegan products to Geláre stores.”
