Electrolux gives food lovers a glimpse into the minds of Perth’s top chefs with Chefs’ Secrets at Taste of Perth

Dream of cooking like a professional chef? Electrolux is teaming up with Perth’s leading chefs to give people a taste of the professionals at the first-ever Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets during Taste of Perth (29 April – 1 May 2016).

Located in the picturesque Langley Park, the Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets is a pop-up designer kitchen and dining space where guests can get up close and personal with some of Perth’s culinary superstars including Hadleigh Troy(Restaurant Amusé), Scott Bridger (Bib & Tucker), Joel Valvasori (Lalla Rookh) and Robert Murphy (Bistro Guillaume).

Hosted by Italian chef, Massimo Mele, guests will have the opportunity to cook alongside their chef-idols and prepare one of their signature dishes, learning cooking secrets and kitchen hacks from the best in the business. Following the hands-on session, the meal will be enjoyed together at a communal table with a glass of matched wine.

Hadleigh Troy, Owner & Head Chef of Restaurant Amusé, says: “Western Australia produces some of the best produce in the country so I’ll be showing people how to prepare a dish using local WA marron.

“Lots of people are intimidated by the idea of cooking marron at home so I hope that people walk away from the session feeling confident to give it a go at home.”

Scott Bridger, Head Chef of Bib & Tucker, says: “I’m really excited to cook with guests and share some of the tips and advice that I’ve picked up from working in professional kitchens around the world. For me, food should be simple with no compromise on quality or presentation so I’ll be sharing a dish which reflects this. Most importantly – it’s going to be a lot of fun!”

A name synonymous with premium household and professional appliances, Electrolux has more than 90 years of experience servicing fine European homes, kitchens and restaurants. With a comprehensive range of products for both homes and restaurant kitchens, Electrolux is renowned for forward thinking innovations designed to meet the real needs of home cooks and professional chefs.

Taste of Perth in partnership with Electrolux is set to showcase one of its greatest restaurant line-ups yet. A selection of Perth’s greatest restaurants (including an exciting newcomer) will gear up to showcase their incredible food offerings from Thursday 29 April – Sunday 1 May.

The Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets is strictly limited to 16 guests per session. Space will be available on a first come, first served basis.
