Taste of Perth - Bib & Tucker - Roasted Fremantle Octopus

Taste of Perth 2016

Taste of Perth is an interesting event in that it gives you the opportunity to try a number of mini dishes from several restaurants across Perth which gives you an idea of the type of food you would expect if you dined at those restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the dishes at Bib & Tucker but the others were solid without being spectacular. There’s also exposure for several artisan producers, wineries, and other retailers to showcase their products. I hope you had an equally enjoyable time and if you missed out, then you’ll have to wait for next year’s event to see what you’re missing out on.

Atoday Night Noodle Markets opening night.

Perth Night Noodle Markets 2016

In 2015 more than 115,000 people flocked to the inaugural Perth Night Noodle Markets held at the Perth Cultural Centre.

This year Fairfax Events has moved the 2016 Night Noodle Markets to the newly opened Elizabeth Quay where it is expected to attract even bigger crowds and will run from March 30 to April 10.

For the first time Night Noodle Markets will be part of Fairfax’s highly successful WAtoday Good Food Month presented by Citi.

Good Food Month is Australia’s largest food festival held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra and now comes to WA to showcase its world-class food and wine scene, vibrant culinary diversity and fantastic local produce.

WAtoday Good Food Month will run from March 30 to April 30 and will bring to Perth some of Australia and the world’s best chefs for two iconic events.

Night Noodle Markets will be a cornerstone of Good Food Month and as part of the plan to cater for bigger crowds organisers have increased the number of food stalls from 20 to 26.
